I Work with Young People

At Beyond, we prioritise the most effective and equitable interventions. That’s why we focus on schools and other educational settings. We also know that teachers and others with a duty of care genuinely care about the wellbeing of young people and want to see them thrive far beyond the limitations of mental health challenges. We want to align on this shared passion to get them the right support and make this a reality.

As someone who works with young people, there are a number of ways to get support or work with us:

Beyond Youth Mental Health Directory

We created the first cross-sector directory of mental health services available for young people across the UK. Its’ comprehensive coverage, from 1:1 counselling to art therapy, ensures individual needs are met. We list over 300 providers and each one is vetted by a dedicated clinician.

Now and Beyond festival

We host an annual mental health and wellbeing festival that aims to start important conversations around mental health in schools across the UK. The festival is held online and includes useful resources, workshops and a live broadcast suitable for those aged 4-18. And it’s totally free!

Youth Board

At the heart and soul of Beyond is our brilliant Youth Board, made up of young people with their own mental health stories. These people generously volunteer their time to inform everything we do and keep us focussed on what really matters, what young people need. In return, we strive to empower them to become influential voices for their generation.
